Hey guys, I feel really bad cause I just joined and we're in the middle of an event. But there's a lot of crazy stuff going on, and it's hit me pretty hard. I'm going to try to stay active, especially in the event. But it may take a couple days between posts until everything straightens out.

Just wanted you guys to know what's up. Sorry guys!

Black Mastodon Ranger

Behold the black ranger, a weird underclassman. Jamie is still a little new to Angel Grove, having moved here a year prior, but embraces the town and leaves a trail of graffiti in his wake. He's a creative kid that doesn't shy away from adventure. He'll get into just about anything!

FRIENDS should be pretty simple. He's talkative and quick to be friends with other. He's a bit loud and over the top, so introverts might not be the kind that can deal with him. Jamie has middle child syndrome, and does a lot of stupid things for attention and approval. He could definitely get into all sorts of things hoping make friends with the wrong kind of people. Still, he tries hard to be liked, so give him a chance.

As for ENEMIES it really depends on the level of jerk you are. Criminals clearly aren't high up on his friendship list despite his own "artistic tendencies." He doesn't take kindly to bullies. He doesn't really jump into fights, but he definitely has things to say about your behavior. If the bullying is towards him rather than a friend of his, he'll put on a brave face. He'll still take it personally with low self-esteem alright. Play nice, okay?

When it comes to LOVE it hasn't really crossed his mind much. He's happy being bros, and is the single friend that everyone goes to for relationship advice for some odd reason. Though if a special someone does catch his eye, he'd probably go all awkward around them. Little experience does that.

Abilities
The power coin has granted him enhanced strength, stamina, and agility much like the other rangers. He is able to perform physical feats that is out of human capability. Jamie is also dangerous with a pencil in his hand, he's a chronic doodler and a talented artist.

Personality
In a word Jamie is artsy. He's creative, coming up with ridiculous questions and ideas. And no matter what class he sits through, there will be drawings all over the worksheets and homework he hands in. If there is anything in his hand that can mark paper, you can be sure he's drawing.

Jamie has tunnel vision. He focuses on one thing more than anything else. He skips lunch or spends study hall on the interest at hand (generally a project of some sort or another). Pulling him out of what he's doing is a challenge, sometimes even making him focus down on another thing instead. Idle hands are the work of the devil, and he is pretty much always doing something. Sitting still is a challenge for Jamie, making many classes boring to go through.

When Jamie's attention is on you he's a friendly guy. He will happily start a conversation, and doesn't judge others by their first impressions. He's a weird kid himself, so he's fine with others being themselves. He doesn't bother to hide who he is for the sake of popularity or making good impressions. He's proud to be creative and ramble-y with odd ideas. The box most think inside of? Yeah, he's a mile outside of it. With that way of thinking, he's pretty much willing to try anything and go on adventures.

Jamie is a bit insecure though when it comes to his self esteem. As a middle child he feels he doesn't stand out, and works hard to impress others. He resorts to over the top artwork and activities hoping others will notice and appreciate.

History
Jamie comes from a large family. To start with there is Kelly a woman who married her high school sweetheart. She was happy with Matthew, who went on to a career as an electrician. Not the most glamorous job, but it brought in money. Together they had children at a young age, Kelly was only twenty at the time. A baby while young was stressful enough, but twins only doubled the strain. When the kids were only two, the parents divorced.

Kelly raised her two kids while living with her own mother in Reefside. She spent most of the days working. Though, a co-worker she met was a kind man that she grew to love. And he loved her back. The two married and had four more children, James being the oldest of his father's kids.

Being the third oldest out of six, Jamie had middle child syndrome. He felt left out of his parents' notice with the older ones giving their parents pride, and the younger kids getting doted on. He funneled his feelings into art, and worked hard to be good, hoping to be verbally appreciated. He showed talent, and really enjoyed it. With that he put more time into projects, willing to work with any medium.

In middle school he was a pretty loud kid. He didn't bother quieting his voice, nor did he stop making friends. He was a weird one though, often trying stupid stunts to impress people. In eighth grade he found a love for graffiti, and started using that as his main outlet. It was on walls and sidewalks, others were sure to notice! And they did which led to scolding.

That doesn't stop him though. In his freshman year he did just the same as before with grades, just scraping by. He had to readjust though as the family moved to Angel Grove as their father had a job opportunity. There, Jamie took being the new kid as a blank slate, not worrying about teachers being disappointed in "his lack of effort despite potential" and other kids who had been less than nice at times.

Now a sophomore, Jamie is embracing his new surroundings and holding tight to his passion for art and hopes to have friends who appreciate him. He just doesn't know what else could be coming from his new home.
